2008 Première Division (Chad)
The Chad Championnat National 2008 was the edition of the top-flight football league in Chad. The competition was held from November 20th to December 1st, 2008, and featured 13 teams from across the country, who had qualified from their respective regional leagues.

Background
The teams that qualified for the tournament were Elect Sport (Ouaddai), AS Cotontchad (Logonne Occidental), AS Douanes (Mayo Kebbi Est), Lion du Guerra (Guerra), AS Mairie (Kanem), ASAB (Lac), Tourbillon (Chari Baguirmi), Toumai FC (Logonne Oriental), AS Zen (Mandoul), AS Lamentin (Mayo Kebbi Ouest), Tourbillon (Moyen Chari), AS Pilipili (Tandjile), and Elect-Sport (N'Djamena).
The final was held on December 1st, 2008. Elect-Sport emerged as the champions of the tournament.[1]
The 2008 edition of the Chad Championnat National saw Elect Sport claim their fourth league title. They went on to represent Chad in the 2009 CAF Champions League.
