2023–24 I-League

The 2023–24 I-League (also known as the Hero I-League for sponsorship reasons) will be the 17th season of I-League, second as the second tier of Indian football league system. It will be played from November 2023 to March 2024.[1]

After a 4–0 win against Rajasthan United on 4 March 2023, RoundGlass Punjab clinched their second league title and became the first ever club to be promoted to the Indian Super League[2][3]

As per the change in rules, the AIFF has allowed a maximum of five foreign players to be registered, but only three can be fielded in a match at a time. It is no longer mandatory to sign an Asian player.[25]
