2023 New Hampshire bombings

At around 6:10 PM EDT on April 26, 2023, what was later determined to be an improvised explosive device exploded in Weare, New Hampshire at a home on NH Route 77. ATF and FBI agents responded to the scene. A second bomb exploded at 6:50 AM the next day inside a van parked along Sugar Hill Road. The driver of the van reported that he was driving when he noticed the bomb, pulled over to remove it, and it exploded in front of him, causing minor injuries. Residents within 2 miles of either bombing have been asked to review their surveillance tapes for anything suspicious.[1]

On 27 April 2023, Dale Stewart was arrested in Webster and a pipe bomb was found in his car and neutralized.[2] He was arraigned on charges for possessing an unregistered firearm, a destructive device and possessing a destructive device unidentified by a serial number. Stewart is due in federal court on May 3.[3]
