2023 Japan by-elections
On 23 April 2023, by-elections were held in order to fill vacancies in the House of Representatives and House of Councillors, the two houses of the Parliament of Japan.[1] This came after nationwide local elections on 9 April.[2]
The ruling Liberal Democratic Party won four of the five seats.[3]
