Abella Danger (born November 19, 1995) is an American pornographic actress and model.[1][2] Described as one of the most popular pornographic actresses in the world, she was the most watched actress in the year 2022, according to the pornographic video sharing website Pornhub.[3]

Career

Danger made her adult film debut in July 2014 for Bang Bros.[4] She moved from Miami, Florida to Los Angeles, California after filming eight scenes.[4] She has attended the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo. According to the IAFD website, she has appeared in approximately 1052 credited scenes with 62 of those being duplicate scenes in compilations.[1] This includes streaming and DVD.[1] She has appeared in mainstream news media other than adult news media, including the websites Elite Daily[5] and International Business Times.[6] Fortune, in 2018, acknowledged her as one of the most popular and in-demand performers in the business.[7]

In 2019, Danger was cast in Her and Him, the directorial debut of Bella Thorne.[8][9] The short film is produced by Pornhub[10] and is the third film in the company's Visionaries Director's Club series. Danger also features in the second film in the series, I Love You.[11]

Danger contributed vocals and appears in the music video to the song, 911, by Borgore off his album, The Art of Gore.[12][13]

She directed her first film in 2019 called Hide and Seek.[14]

In February 2021, Danger starred in Thorne's music video for Shake It, which featured the two engaged in simulated sexual activity that led to the video being taken down from YouTube shortly after its premiere.[15] The appearance was noted as a continuation of a mutually beneficial collaboration between the two, providing Thorne with legitimacy in the adult entertainment community and providing Danger with wider mainstream exposure.[16]

In 2022, Danger posed with Denise Richards to recreate a scene from the film, Wild Things (1998), which Danger initiated after learning that Richards had joined OnlyFans.[17][18] Danger was "revealed as the number one most-watched star on Porn Hub in 2022".[18] In 2023, Danger co-hosted the AVN Awards with Reya Sunshine, which was held at the Resorts World casino resort in Las Vegas, Nevada on January 7, 2023, and marked the show's return to a live audience for the first time since 2020.[19][20] After their selection, AVN Media Network CEO Tony Rios stated “We think Abella Danger and Reya Sunshine represent the best of the best in the adult industry today and we couldn’t be more excited to have them usher in the next era of the AVN Awards Show in Las Vegas".[21] In 2023, Danger was deemed the "Most Popular Female Performer" at the Fifth Annual Pornhub Awards.[22]

Personal life

Danger was raised in a Jewish household and was a ballet dancer while growing up.[23][24] She has been trained in classical dancing.[24] Danger chose her stage name, Abella, from the derivative Bella, which means "beautiful" in Italian.[25]

Danger had been in a relationship with Gaby Guerrero (Gaby G), and appears in her music video, "City on Fire". She plays a character luring the singer to the dark side of Los Angeles.[26][27]
