Asterius of Caesarea
Asterius of Caesarea was a Roman senator, who became a Christian martyr. After Asterius gave a Christian burial to a Roman soldier Marinus of Caesarea, who suffered martyrdom, he too was condemned to martyrdom, and was beheaded.[1]
