Aswin Tripathy

Ashwin Tripathy is an Indian film director, television host, and entrepreneur, best known for his contributions to the Odia film industry. He directed the 2023 film Delivery Boy, an Odia language film starring Sailendra Samantarey Buddhaditya Mohanty which marked his directorial debut in feature films and was a commercial success.[1]

Film Career

Ashwin Tripathy transitioned to the film industry and worked as a supporting actor in several films. He then founded his own advertising company, Idol Odisha, where he directed a number of commercials featuring renowned actors such as Govinda and Anup Soni. Tripathy directed numerous advertisements, including national ads casting personalities like Crime Petrol fame Anup Soni and Govinda.[2] In 2019, he worked as an Executive Producer for the film Mun Paradesi Chadei.During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Ashwin Tripathy started making music videos. Since then, he has directed over 80 music videos..In 2021, Tripathy directed his first television film starring Miss India Fame Archita Sahu, titled Durgatinashini 2.[3]

Delivery Boy

In 2023, Ashwin Tripathy directed and released the feature film Delivery Boy. The film, which is in the Odia language, is about a young man's struggles in the delivery business. The film was a commercial success and received positive reviews from critics and audiences alike.[4]
