Career

Before streaming

During college, Ewing was an avid League of Legends player, eventually reaching rank 13 in North America during the games second season in 2012.[5] While studying at Arizona State University, Ewing founded the universities Esports Club, which was later attended by future streamer Ludwig Ahgren.[6]

After graduating with a degree in marketing, Ewing started his career at Twitch in February 2014 as a marketing and content manager, before moving on to work as a Manager of Global Consumer Marketing at graphics card manufacturer Nvidia.[7] Whilst at Nvidia, Brandon has worked on many projects including the introduction of the GeForce RTX Keyboard Keycap and he presented the final E3 GameReady winners as the GeForce host at E3.[8][9] He also pitched the company's Frames Win Games campaign, which the company still uses as of May 2023. [10]

Streaming career

Ewing is active in the Super Smash Bros. Melee scene. As a streamer, Ewing became involved in the Hitman speedrunning scene, innovating upon many levels previously thought to be completely explored.

Ewing entered the scene of Age of Empires IV competing in a number of competitive matches until he reached the top 1,000 players.[11]

During September of 2021 Ewing's Twitch account, Atrioc, was banned,[12] the reasoning behind this decision was not disclosed but many believe the decision to be due to a clip, circulating the internet at the time, of Ewing playing through a Wikipedia speedrun in which he displayed many NSFW images, such as “erection”, “human penis”, and “arousal”,[13] all of which breach Twitches guidelines.[note 1]

During the controversy surrounding Valkyrae's endorsement contract with RFLCT Ewing continued to stream. Whilst streaming Ewing unintentionally leaked conversations between Valkyrae and Ludwig about Valkyrae's considerations of leaving RFLCT and her contract.[14] It was seen that Valkyrae felt she 'messed up' due to Ewing's leak of the Discord conversation.[15] This incident was seen as a pivotal point in wrapping up the RFLCT drama.

On the launch day of Elden Ring in early 2022, Ewing spent 7 hours attempting to beat the first optional boss.[16] Atrioc was sponsored by Public.com during late 2022,[17] this was one of his first big sponsors, helping pave the way for his content creation agency Offbrand. In September 2022 Atrioc, Ludwig Ahgren, Stanz and Nick Allen started the content creation agency Offbrand.[18] Atrioc announced his involvement on September 28th.[19] Offbrand is a agency that helps connect content creators to brand sponsors, helps organize events and helps creators ideas become reality, as quoted from the site; "The world's biggest creators have even bigger ideas... We make them happen";[20] the agency has connections to American Eagle Outfitters, Bose Corporation, Crunchyroll, Electronic Arts, Warner Bros. Pictures and more.

During a live stream on January 30st, 2023, Ewing accidently revealed a browser tab with a pornographic website selling deep fakes of other live streamers, including Pokimane and QTCinderella.[21][22] In response to the controversy, Ewing apologized and resigned from Offbrand.[23] QTCinderella described her friendship with him as irreparable following the incident.[24][25] In the following months, Atrioc then spent more than USD$100,000 to take down other deepfake porn images across the internet, working with QTCinderella among others.[26]

Personal life

Ewing currently lives in Los Angeles, California.
