Benzinga is a financial news website[2] headquartered in Detroit, Michigan, U.S. It was founded by Jason Raznick,[3][4] and mainly provides investment advice and analysis[5] as well as information from TheStreet, The Wall Street Journal, and other aggregated content.[6] The website domain name Benzinga.com[7] was registered on May 18, 2009,[8] and the company began to operate in 2010.[4] By 2012 there were 1 million site visitors per month.[9]

The company was acquired by Beringer Capital in 2021.[10] At that time, the site had over 25 million readers a month and a valuation of over $100 million.[11][12] Aside from website visitors, the company also provides services to brokerage companies such as Robinhood, which noted for its zero-commission investing, as well as TD Ameritrade, Questrade and Fidelity Investments.[13] The company employs 150 contributors in addition to 75 full-time employees.[13]
