Biosphere (film)
Biosphere is an upcoming buddy comedy film directed by Mel Eslyn in her feature length directorial debut, and starring Sterling K. Brown and Mark Duplass. Eslyn and Duplass also co-wrote the script. The film is set for a July 7, 2023 release.

Synopsis
Two best friends find themselves the last men on earth.[2]
Production
The film was written by Eslyn and Duplass who got the outline for the plot when they attended a writers’ retreat in 2018.[3] Eslyn also produced alongside Zackary Drucker, Maddie Buis and Shuli Harel, with Mark Duplass and Jay Duplass executive producers.[4] IFC Films bought the North American rights for the film in November 2022.[5]
Release
The film had its world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival on September 10, 2022.[6]
The film is slated for release in theaters and on demand on July 7, 2023.[7]
Reception
On the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, Biosphere holds an approval rating of 90% based on 10 reviews.[8]
John Defore of The Hollywood Reporter described it as “Post-apocalyptic survival meets … anxious buddy humour” and “a mysterious and hilarious pic”.[9]
