Bonny River

Bonny River is a river in Rivers State, Nigeria.[1] Water taxis that move along the river provide the connection between Bonny Island and Port Harcourt,[1] the capital of Rivers State, which lies alongside the river.[2][3] It is also an arm of the Niger River delta.[4] Shellfish such as prawns, periwinkle and crabs found in Bonny rivers have been discovered to contain high metals.[5]
