Brazil developed the highly controversial campaign for directory enquires company 118 118.[1] This campaign fuelled a UK nationwide debate and eventual law suit involving 1970s long-distance runner David Bedford over the use of his personal image.[2] For its work on the 118 118 campaign, Brazil won Financial Times Campaign of the Year and from Campaign magazine.[3][4] This campaign is regularly referenced in marketing & PR academic textbooks and papers for its planning and integrated approach. [5]
Brazil developed the AXA RoadSafe Schools campaign, a crowdsourcing-based CSR campaign which highlighted the road risks around UK schools.[6] The campaign leveraged data to identify the riskiest roads and raised money from both AXA and the public to make positive change. this was backed by UK MP Nigel Evans. [7] [8] This included more than 50 regions in the UK adopting 20mph safe driving zones. It was subsequently launched in 10 other countries.[9]
