Chris Lynne

Chris Lynne is an American academic administrator and business executive. He has served as the president of the University of Phoenix since December 2022.

Life

Lynne earned a B.S. in accounting from Purdue University.[1] He earned an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.[1]

Lynnee was the chief financial officer and chief operating officer of Northcentral University.[1] He later became the chief financial officer of Cadence Education.[1] He founded the Transcend Education Group. Lynne was the president and chief operating officer of HotChalk.[1] In November 2018, Lynne became the chief financial officer of the University of Phoenix.[1] He became its interim president in June 2022 following the resignation of George A. Burnett.[2][3] He was named president in December of that year.[1][4]
