Danielle Vasinova

Danielle Vasinova (born September 1, 1982) is an American actress, voice actress, and model.[1]  She has appeared in television series such as Dexter,[2][3]It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, MacGyver[4]  and Rules of Engagement.[5] She has also appeared in films such as Full Clip, To Hell with a Bullet, and Should’ve Been Romeo.[4] She has also provided the voice for the character Belle in the video game Belle's War, based on the Image Comics comic book 13 Chambers.[6]

Early life and education

Vasinova was born in Connecticut and spent her childhood in Connecticut and New York.[4][7] She is of Czech, Irish, and Native American descent.[4][6] Her grandparents met at a detainment camp in communist Czechoslovakia, eventually fleeing together to the United States.[4]

Vasinova was scouted as a model at the age of 13, when a talent scout saw her performing at a cheer-leading competiton.[4]

Vasinova earned a BA Degree in communication sciences from the University of Connecticut.[1]

Vasinova studied acting under teachers such as Playhouse West's Robert Carnegie, Margie Haber, and Ivana Chubbuk.[5]

Career

After moving to California, Vasinova was cast in the long-running soap opera The Young and the Restless.[4] Vasinova went on to book roles in TV series such as Nip/Tuck, Rules of Engagement, Dexter, MacGyver, Ballers, and The Kominsky Method.[4] Her film roles include Full Clip, To Hell with a Bullet and Little Red Rotting Hood.[4]

In 2010, Vasinova starred in the FX pilot Alabama.[8] For her role in White Trash Noir, Vasinova received the In Mag Award of Excellence for Acting and was nominated for the Western Association of Broadcasters (WAB) Best Performance in an Acting Role - Female award at the 2011 Action on Film International Film Festival.

Vasinova has done voice acting for the animated short film Shinjuku[3] and the video game Belle's War.[5][6] She starred in the film To Hell With a Bullet, which was released in 2015.[9] She also appeared in the film Little Red Rotting Hood, which was originally titled Red Dead.[2][3][10][7][11]

In 2022, Vasinova received the International Actress Award at Glamour Bulgaria’s Woman of the Year Awards.[5][12] Vasinova is set to appear alongside Jean-Claude Van Damme in the film Darkness of Man.[5] She is also set to appear alongside Eddie Griffin in the film Savage Midlife.[5]

Vasinova has been photographed for magazines such as L’Officiel[13] and Maxim Australia.[14][15]

Vasinova has served as an investor in businesses such as Sugar Taco (a vegan Mexican  restaurant), The Plant Butcher (vegan eatery) and the tequila brand Azúcar.[14][12][15]

Personal life

In her spare time, Vasinova enjoys riding horses, adventure travel and motorcycles and practicing wushu.[5][14]
