David Jonathans

David Jonathans (born 26 January 2004) is a Luxembourger professional footballer who plays as a winger or forward for Regionalliga Bayern club Bayern Munich II.

Club career

Jonathans signed for German club Bayern Munich in July 2020, moving from Swift Hesperange in Luxembourg.[1] He signed a contract extension in April 2022, keeping him with the Bavarian club until 2025.[2] He was called up to Bayern Munich II in a Regionalliga Bayern away match against TSV Aubstadt on 3 October 2022, in a 2–0 loss, however he did not feature in the match.

He made his debut with Bayern Munich II on a Regionalliga Bayern match against 1. FC Nürnberg II in 17 May 2023, coming off the bench as a substitute.

International career

Jonathans is of both Dutch and Indonesian descent, and is eligible to represent Luxembourg and the Netherlands.[3][4][5]

He has represented Luxembourg from under-15 to under-19 level.[5][6]
