It is their first collaboration between them, and the first song of Daddy Yankee with salsa genre.[1]

Background and release

After releasing several worldwide hit singles over the past few years, at the end of November 2020 Daddy Yankee announced that he would be releasing a new song/single featuring the "king" of salsa Marc Anthony. The single was released in December of that same year.[2]

When the single was released, many announced that they fused reggaeton with salsa.[3]

In 2021, the song managed to reach the top of "Premio Lo Nuestro".[4]

Music video

The official music video was released simultaneously with the single on December 10, 2020 and currently has over 320 million views and over 1.5 million likes.[5]
