Fittr is a health and wellness platform that provides fitness coaching services, diet plans, workout plans. and other fitness tools. The application was launched in 2016 by Jitendra Chouksey.

History

Fittr was founded in 2016 by Jitendra Chouksey in Pune, India with an initial investment of Rs 90,000.[1][2][3]

In 2018, Fittr launched its mobile app that provided users with access to diet and training tools, calorie tracker, BMI calculator, personalized guidance, customized plans, and weekly check-ins from coaches.[4][5] A paid version of the app with additional features, called Fittr Prime was released in 2019.[6][7][8]

In November 2019, Fittr launched its services in 12 other countries including the US, the UK, Canada, Australia, and Singapore.[9][10][11]

In April 2020, Fittr raised $2 million in Pre-Series A funding from Surge, a startup accelerator program by Sequoia Capital.[12][13]

In September 2021, the company raised $11.5 million in a Series A round led by Elysian Park Ventures, the investment arm of the Los Angeles Dodgers' ownership group, and Dream Capital, the venture vehicle of Dream Sports.[14][15][16][17]
