Green Entertainment
Green Entertainment is a Pakistani entertainment television channel under the administration of Inter-Services Public Relations.[1]
History
Launched in 2023, the channel's initial outreach was marked by an official sound track (OST) titled "Kyunke main Green hoon (Because I am Green)", featuring multiple musicians including Abida Parveen, Atif Aslam, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Shafqat Amanat Ali, among others.[1] The upbeat, patriotic song was chosen to instill a sense of national pride in Pakistanis.[1]
Subsequently, the channel's YouTube platform began releasing short films tackling diverse themes such as classism, corruption, gender equality, morality, and societal norms.[1] Another video, "Farq Toh Parta Hai", employed the creative device of children impersonating adults to critique certain societal hypocrisies.[1]
