The company chartered the cruise ferry MS Romantika from the Estonian company Tallink Grupp for an initial period of three years. The ship has a maximum capacity of 1500 passengers and 350 cars. The crossing takes about 18 hours.

The Company is founded by Bart Cunnen, and Patrick America.[4] In the same interview, it is also stated that by 2027 the company aims to operate emissions-free ships.

Cancelled Sailings

Early 2023 the ferry from Eemshaven to Kristiansand Holland Norway Lines faced several cancellations because the ship MS Romantika was unable to moor in Eemshaven on several occasions.

The problem was caused by the fact that since October Holland Norway Lines no longer had priority to moor at the so-called heavy quay in Eemshaven.

Move from Eemshaven

On the 23rd of March 2023 Holland Norway Lines announced in a press release that from April 17th to May 31st, they would use Cuxhaven as their temporary departure port, and from the 1st June, Emden would be their new permanent port of departure. [5]
