Ian Archer
Ian W. Archer FRHistS is a Fellow and Tutor in Modern History at Keble College, the University of Oxford.[1][2]
Career
After graduating from Altrincham Grammar School for Boys and Trinity College, Oxford,[3] Archer started his academic career in 1986 as a Research Fellow at Girton College, the University of Cambridge. In 1989 he moved to Downing College, Cambridge where he was Director of Studies in History until 1991. After leaving Cambridge he transferred to Keble College, Oxford where he is Sub-Warden.[1]
Philanthropy
He is the Chair of the Education Committee at the London Academy of Excellence Stratford, an Ofsted outstanding Free School.[4]
