Jared Gallagher
Jared Sean Gallagher (born 18 January 2002) is a Singaporean footballer of Irish descent who plays as a defensive-midfielder or central-midfielder for Singapore Premier League club Young Lions.[1]

Early life
His family migrated to Hong Kong when he was in Primary 2 and studied at Yew Chung International School.
Club career
Young Lions
Prior to joining the Young Lions, Jared played with Kitchee SC's Under-18 and reserve side in Hong Kong. After moving to Hong Kong and linking up with Kitchee SC’s youth side, he returned to Singapore in March 2020 to fulfil his national service (NS) obligations. He was announced as the Young Lions new player mid season signing in the 2021 season.
Jared would then score his first professional goal against Hougang United in the 2023 Singapore Premier League season.[2]

Personal life
Born to an Irish father and a Singaporean mother, Jared grew up in Bukit Gombak, overseas in Shanghai and Hong Kong before returning home to Singapore. Due to his Irish roots, he supports the Irish club Silgo Rovers despite playing in Singapore.
Jared has his own podcast show, called Stuck In Podcast where he hosts expat and local footballers and talks about the local Singaporean football scene. [4]
