Ingredients and preparation

The momos are first made by mixing flour with the ingredients prepared.[3] Ingredients for the momo can be varied, as they can be prepared as a meat dish or a vegetarian dish. Once mixed, squeeze the dough for a few minutes until it's smooth, before breaking them into small pieces and making round shapes. To create broth, first roast the tomatoes and garlic for 30 minutes; then roast cumin and sesame seeds before frying onions until caramelized; once done mix them with the roasted ingredients as well as adding chillies into the mix before boiling them.[4] Once mixed and stirred, slush them in a blender to make a sauce; add hot water to make it into a broth.[4]
