José Martínez (pitcher)
José Miguel Martínez Martínez (born April 1, 1971) is a Dominican former Major League Baseball pitcher. He appeared in four games for the San Diego Padres in 1994.

Martínez was the second pick of the Florida Marlins in the 1992 Major League Baseball expansion draft, though he was subsequently traded alongside Trevor Hoffman and Andres Berumen to the Padres for Gary Sheffield.[1]
He was called up by the Padres from Double-A on May 10, 1994 to replace an injured Tim Mauser and make his Major League debut.[2]
