Justin Bitakwira
Justin Bitakwira Bihona-Hayi (born December 5, 1960) is a Congolese politician and a member of the National Assembly of the Democratic Republic of Congo. He is also a member of the Union for the Congolese Nation political party.[1][2] He was born in the Uvira Territory of the South Kivu Province in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Bitakwira belonged to the Bafuliru community, the largest ethnic group in the region.[3]

Bitakwira was a member of several political parties during his career, including the Union for Democracy and Social Progress (UDPS) and the People's Party for Reconstruction and Democracy (PPRD). He held various government positions, including Minister of Planning, Regional Development, and Infrastructure, and later Minister of State for Foreign Trade.[4][5][6]
He is highly respected in his community, particularly among the Bafuliru people, who he represented in the government. Bitakwira was known for his dedication to improving the lives of the people in his region. He was instrumental in several development projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing agriculture, education, and infrastructure in the area.[6][7][8][9]
