The action thriller film is being produced and directed by Mohammad Iqbal, under the banner of Sunan movies. It is the first time Ananta and Barsha are starring in a film where they are not also attached as producers. Ananta Jalil and Rubel has action sequence for ‘Kill Him’.[2]

This will mark the first time Ananta and Barsha will be working on a film outside their own productions.[3]

Ananta Jalil unveiled the poster of much-anticipated film "Kill Him" on 10 April 2023.[3] ‘Kill Him’ starring celebrity couple Borsha and Ananta Jalil has been approved uncut by the Bangladesh Motion Pictures Censor Board on 19th April 2023.[4] Ananta Jalil's "Kill Him" was released on April 22, 2023 at 27 cinema halls in Eid al Fiter .[5][6]

Ananta Jalil revealed he will be paid Tk 40 lakhs for his role and Barsha will receive 10 lakhs.[7][8] Mohammad Iqbal claims that no other actor in the Bangladeshi film industry has received such a high fee as of yet. Total budget for this film is not revealed yet.[9]

The film's hero Ananta Jalil and director Iqbal have been accused of hiring people to show the show of the film Kill Him.[10] Apart from this, there have also been allegations of harassment of media workers in movie shows. Several women media workers are reported to have been harassed by those hired men.[10][11] In this regard, Ananta Jalil said that he was 'suffered' by the incident that happened with journalist brothers and sisters.[12]

Apart from this, the film's heroine and Ananta Jalil's wife Afia Nusrat Barsha compared Ananta with Shah Rukh Khan in the promotion of this film. Similarly, Ananta Jalil compared Barsha with Bollywood's Deepika.[13] Before that, hero Ananta Jalil gave rise to the comical incident of eating the cake while fasting in front of the journalists' cameras while cutting the cake with everyone in the event organized on the occasion of his birthday. Ananta Jalil mistakenly eats cake while fasting on his birthday celebration program. This incident video went viral on the social media.[14] Neti Gens was saying that, it was planned for the promotion of Kill Him.[15]
