Kim Shin (general)

Kim Shin (Korean: 김신; Hanja: 張盛煥, September 1921, 1922 – May 19, 2016) was a South Korean air force lieutenant general, government minister and diplomat.

Early life

On 22 September 1922, he was born in Shanghai, China.

Military career

He was a founding member of Republic of Korea Air Force,

He served in the Republic of Korea Air Force during Korean War.[1]

He was Chief of Staff of the Republic of Korea Air Force from 1960 to 1962.

Diplomatic career

Upon his retirement from the military, he served as ab ambassador to Taiwan.

Personal life

He is a son of Kim Gu.
