Kochaal is 2022 Indian Malayalam-language Action film directed by Shyam Mohan and featuring Murali Gopy, Indrans, Krishna Shankar and Shine Tom Chacko in lead roles. It is produced by Sierra Talkies.

Production

The puja function of the film was held at Kochi[2][3].The film shooting was started in December 2019 and postponed later 2nd schedule by pandamic[4].Later the teaser[5] and trailer was released.[6]

Release

The film released 10 June 2022 in theatres and film streamed in ZEE5 on 27 November 2023.

Reception

V Vinod Nair critic of The Times of India gave 3 stars out of 5 and stated that "Shyam Mohan’s direction is lacking is creating a full picture of the protagonist’s life, his family, romance etc, and so the character isn’t memorable and you don’t sympathise or empathise with him."[7].A critic from Indian Express stated that " Jomon Thomas' visuals add to the enjoyment level of the film"[8].Manorama Online critic gave mixed reviews[9].Samayam critic gave 3 stars out of 5 and state that "There the film is doing justice to the audience."[10].
