"La Hora y El Día" (English: "The Hour And The Day") is a song by Puerto Rican singer Daddy Yankee and the American singers Justin Quiles and Dalex. It is believed that this song could be the bonus track of the Daddy Yankee album "Legendaddy", but it really is not.[1][2][3][4]

In a letter of the song he refers to the hit "Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53" with Bizarrap and Shakira.[5]

Background and release

Due to Daddy Yankee's retirement reported in 2022, the community thought that any song he released is probably Daddy Yankee's last song, however, due in February 2023 as a love month special, he announced his new single on his social networks along with Justin Quiles and Dalex which is titled "La Hora y El Día".[6] The single was released on February 16, 2023.[7]

The song is also known for a part of its lyrics from the single that references "BZRP Music Sessions #53" with Bizarrap and Shakira that the lyrics say "Cambié un rolex por un casio, Shakira me lo dijo y no le hice caso".

Dalex thanked Daddy Yankee for collaborating on the single.[8][9]
