Larry Poole (actor)
Larry Poole is an American actor, film producer, wrangler and former vice president of SAG/AFTRA San Diego Local known for his performances as Wiley in Last Shoot Out, McCabe in A Soldier's Revenge and Chester Hammond in The Final Wish. He is executive producer for A Rodeo Film and won Best Actor at GI Film Festival San Diego for his portrayal of Tom Horn in Once Guilty, Now Innocent, But Still Dead.

Life & career

Poole grew up watching westerns as a child. He moved to Ramona, California from the East Coast with his wife, Racine.[1] He runs Gem Canyon Productions[2][3] and co-produced a pilot based on Campo: The Forgotten Gunfight for KPBS. Poole has worked with Jake Busey, Val Kilmer and Bruce Dern[1] and has starred in the films Last Shoot Out and A Soldier's Revenge. He was the head wrangler on a film called Why the Nativity? by David Jeremiah.[3] Poole was injured in 2014 at the Mother Goose Parade in El Cajon when his horse fell on him, breaking his leg.[4] In 2017, he was voted to a two year term as vice president of SAG/AFTRA San Diego Local,[5][6] was a judge at the first Gong Show in Ramona,[7] and won Best Actor at GI Film Festival San Diego for his portrayal of Tom Horn in Once Guilty, Now Innocent, But Still Dead.[2]
