Laure Résimont

Laure Resimont (born 29 January 1998) is a Belgian basketball player,[1] and 3x3 basketball player.[2] She plays small forward for the Belgium women's national basketball team.[3]

Career

Resimont played with Pitzemburg Mechelen, BC Sint-Katelijne-Waver, and the Tarbes Simpel Bigorre .  After one season with this French club, she announced a return to Sint-Katelijne-Waver, but then went to the Spanish AE Sedis Bàsquet .  From the 2021-'22 season, she started working for Kangoeroes Basket Mechelen.[4]

In 2017 she was voted U23 player of the year  and in 2018  and 2019  she was awarded Player of the Year.  In addition, in 2019, she was also named MVP in the Top Division 1 .

In 2022, Resimont represented Belgium at the 2022 FIBA 3x3 World Cup, together with Becky Massey, Julie Vanloo and Ine Joris.[5][6] She competed at the 2022 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup.[7][8][9]
