List of rainbow crossings

This is a list of permanent rainbow crossings or rainbow crosswalks installed in major cities around the world as symbols of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Many originally started in the 2010s in cities around the world, some began as temporary installments, but many rainbow crossings have since been adopted by cities as permanent installments to celebrate the LGBTQIA community.

Some rainbow crossings around the world have been subject to repeated attacks by people committing hate crimes and vandalism and had to be subsequently repaired.[1][2]

The list below does not include all rainbow crossings in existence and is limited to those of notability, such as the first installation in a country, first installation in the largest cities of a state of large countries or otherwise notable beyond its mere existence.
