Mariah Robertson

Mariah Robertson (born 1975) is an American photographer. She lives in New York City.[1]

Robertson has exhibited work internationally including at Saatchi Gallery in London[2] and MoMA PS1 in Long Island City.[3] In 2015 she was a co-founded Situations Gallery[4] in the Lower East Side in New York City.[5] where she hosted Temporal Situations,[6] a month-long program of live and time-based events from 2016 to 2017.[7] Her work appears on the cover of the 2016 Elton John album "Wonderful Crazy Night."[8] She is represented by M+B Gallery in Los Angeles, and Van Doren Waxter in New York City.[9]

Robertson was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and spent her childhood in Sacramento, California.[1] She served as curator at Lair of the Minotaur gallery in San Francisco in the 2000s.[10]

Education

Robertson received her BA in Religious Studies from UC Berkeley, and her MFA from Yale University.[11]
