Oriental Mindoro Disiplinados
The Oriental Mindoro Disiplinados are a Filipino professional basketball team competing in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) based in Oriental Mindoro. The Disiplinados are the lone team from the Mimaropa region.

The team joined the league in the 2019–20 season as the Mindoro Tamaraws, the tamaraw is endemic to the island of Mindoro, hence the name. They also played as the Mindoro Tamaraws Disiplinados in the National Basketball League.
The Disiplinados are currently the only team in the league without a home arena, but an arena is being built in the city of Calapan.
History
Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League
The Mindoro Tamaraws joined the MPBL as an expansion team for the 2019–20 season, backed by 7A Sports and with Justin Tan as the team owner[1][2]
In April 2020, actress and Pola, Oriental Mindoro mayor Ina Alegre became co-owner of the team. The Tamaraws were also recognized as the representative team of Oriental Mindoro in the MPBL, and a basketball court in Calapan was built to serve as the team's homecourt.[3][4]
National Basketball League
In 2021, a second team dubbed as the Mindoro Tamaraws Disiplinados was formed for the National Basketball League which is meant to a more homegrown-oriented team as opposed to the MPBL team which is intended to be the "showcase team".[5]
