Mohammad Ab Rahman

Mohammad bin Ab Rahman (born 15 March 1964 in Machang, Kelantan) is a Malaysian General who served as 29th Chief of Malaysian Army.[1][2]

Early life

Mohammad Ab Rahman was born on 15 March 1964 in Machang, Kelantan.

Army career

Mohammad Ab Rahman began his army career on 1 July 1987 when he was commissioned a second lieutenant in the Royal Malay Regiment. Throughout his service in the army, Mohammad has held several important positions including commanding officer of the 23rd Battalion of the Royal Malay Regiment; commander of the 2nd Malaysian Infantry Brigade; commander of the 3rd Malaysian Infantry Division; commander of Army Training in 2019[3] and commander of Army Western Field.[4] He was subsequently appointed as Deputy Chief of Army. Mohammad was appointed as Chief of Army on 22 March 2023.[1]
