Mukundan Maran

Mukundan Maran (born 23 April 1998) is a Singaporean footballer who is currently playing as a goalkeeper for Balestier Khalsa and the Singapore national team.[1][2][3][4]

Club

In 2017, he signed for Warriors FC.[5] A year later, he was promoted to the first team and made 21 appearances in the 2018 season.

He left the Warriors in 2021 to join Hougang United.


Hougang United

Mukundan played in all three of the club 2022 AFC Cup match fixtures at the Thống Nhất Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. He pulled a couple of heroic saves against Laos club, Young Elephants which Hougang won the game 3-1. He went on the become the club first choice keeper throughout the first half of the season.

On 10 June 2022, Maran started against Johor Darul Ta'zim in an eventual 8-0 friendly lost and was substituted at half time for Aizil Yazid.[6]

On 19 November 2022, He won the 2022 Singapore Cup in the club first ever piece of silverware.
