Naskand District

Naskand District (Persian: بخش نسکند) is in Sarbaz County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Naskand.[3]

At the 2006 National Census, the region's population (as Naskand Rural District of the former Sarbaz District) was 13,986 in 2,821 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 10,845 people in 2,302 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, there were 13,883 inhabitants in 3,337 households.[2] After the census, the rural district was elevated to the status of a district and divided into two rural districts.[3]
