Nestlé Nesvita Women of Strength '09

Nestlé Nesvita Women of Strength '09 is a weekly television talk show, which selects young women to promote education, skills and career choices. The show was hosted by Ayesha Khan, directed by Kamran Qureshi & Iram Qureshi and produced by Sajjad Gul's Evernew Group for Nestlé Nesvita. The initiative aims to provide young urban women with the tools and guidance by telling stories.[1][2][3]

Format

The show follows 26 women selected after going through a screening process on the basis of their goals. Each show focuses an individual and spends a day with her in school or with family and friends, exploring factors in her goals and vision. Her parents and a mentor, a related professional from the field, are invited to introduce the subject. A female celebrity guest was also included each week to act as a role model. At the end of the show, the Woman of Strength writes their goal, signs it and puts it in a showcase area of the set.[4]

The theme song Khuch Khowab hen (English: There are some dreams and destinations...) was composed by Ahsan Ali Taj & Imran Rafique and sung by Maham Fatima. It was written by Sabir Zafar. Theme instrumentals and slow version of the song were used in the show.
