Nick Bradman

Bradman's appearance on The Advertiser's cover followed his attainment of a perfect score in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma and the achievement of an Australian university entrance rank (ATAR) of 99.95.[1][2] The headline read "Bradman: 99.95".[3] This score was marginally higher than Sir Donald Bradman's career test-batting average of 99.94,[4][5] a number widely known in Australia and which has been referred to by The Age as one of the country's "most famous statistic[s]".[6] Nick was separately interviewed by the Australian Associated Press, which ran the story in several other publications.[7][8][9][9][10] In these, he praised the educational opportunities offered by the IB Diploma, highlighting the "breadth and depth" of its curriculum as well as the value of its non-educational "Creativity, Activity, Service" program.[1][11] After matriculating at Pembroke School in Adelaide, South Australia,[12][11][13] he studied law and economics at the Australian National University in Canberra.[14][15][16]

In 2020, Bradman appeared on Myanmar Radio and Television, as part of the first and only foreign students permitted to visit Myanmar's Office of the Attorney General in Naypyidaw.[17][18] He subsequently criticised the quality of legal education in Myanmar’s education system, arguing that its deficiencies were undermining the development of the "politically engaged citizenry" necessary for "the country’s nascent democracy to succeed".[13]

In 2015, he took part in an episode of the Australian TV series Australian Story, "Being Bradman", along with his father John Bradman and siblings Greta Bradman and Tom Bradman.[19] His sister Greta is an operatic singer and radio broadcaster for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.[20]
