Pevita Pearce

Pevita Cleo Eileen Pearce (born 6 October 1992) is a British-Indonesian actress and model of mixed Welsh and Banjar descent.

Early life

Pearce was born on 6 October 1992 in Jakarta, Indonesia, as the youngest child and only daughter of Bramwell James Leonard Pearce (19 April 1961 – 29 August 2021) from United Kingdom, and his first wife Ernie Auliasari from Banjarmasin.[1] She had one brother, Keenan Pearce, and one half sister, Chelsea Pearce.[1] After completed her junior school education, she went to SMP Al-Azhar 9 in Kemang, South Jakarta, and moved to SMA Al-Azhar.[1] She then moved to SMA HighScope and graduated from there, and continued her education at New York Film Academy in 2011, and at La Salle College International Jakarta from 2012 until 2014.[1]

Personal life

Relationships

In 2009, Pearce was reported to have a romantic relationship with racing driver Moreno Soeprapto.[2] She involved in a romantic relationship with singer Anindyo Baskoro from 2010 until 2012, and later with actor Banyu Biru.[1] She was reported to have had affairs with several man such as Al Ghazali, Putra Wibowo, and Bara Tampubolon.[1]

In 2018, Pearce was reported dating businessman Indra Priawan Djokosoetono, where she was reported to have been gifted a luxury car by Djokosoetono, when several romantic pictures of them in car circulating on social media.[3] When still dating Djokosoetono, she also reported to being involved in a relationship with several man such as Chicco Jerikho and Mike Lewis, when he is still married to Tamara Bleszynski.[3] In 2019, Pearce was rumoured to have a relationship with Ariel Noah.[1] She later denied, but a video of her and Noah watching movie in theatre together was published in gossip accounts.[1]

Illness

In 2014, Pearce was diagnosed with breast tumor when doing medical checkup.[4][1] She later underwent removal surgery on 12 April 2016 in Malaysia.[4]

Career

Pearce made her film debut by starred in John de Rantau's comedy Denias, Senandung Di Atas Awan (2006), and in Rachmania Arunita's romance Lost in Love (2008), where she had to compete with more than 1000 other applicants at the casting.[1] This film launched Pearce career, and she was nominated for Citra Award for Best Actress at the Indonesian Film Festival in 2008.[1] She took a hiatus from the acting due to focusing on her education, but later returned by starred in Rasa (2009), where she did a kissing scene with Christian Sugiono.[2]
