Pranaya Vilasam
Pranaya Vilasam (lit. 'Love address') is a 2023 Indian Malayalam movie directed by Nikhil Muraly and produced by Siby Chavara and Renjith Nair[1] under the banner Green Room Productions. It stars Arjun Ashokan, Anaswara Rajan, Mamitha Baiju, Hakkim Sha, Manoj K U in the lead roles. The film was released on 24 February 2023.

Plot
The plot of the movie revolves around a college student, Suraj, and his family.
Suraj wishes to advance in the music field, but in the end, due to his father's insistence, he has to go to another university to study other subjects that he does not like, and is always unhappy with his life being controlled according to his father's wishes, and does not have a very good relationship between his father and him. It is seen that
Also, his father Wena Rajeev is shown in the film as a government employee who works in a village officer's office and he is portrayed as a selfish person who often controls their lives according to his own wishes without caring much about his wife Anushri and his child.
During his university career, Rajeev is in a relationship with a girl named Meera and after it breaks up, he becomes a person who is in a state of mind and starts a new life further away from his family members due to his relationship with Meera during a university prom meeting.In the meantime, after the breakup of his first romantic relationship with a girl named Rehana, Sooraj starts a new relationship with his best friend Gopika.17

Production
The first look of the film was released on 31 December 2022.[2] The production company announced the release date for 17 February 2023 [3]and it was postponed and released on 24 February 2023.[4] The teaser, lyrics video and trailer were released later. [5][6][7]
Box Office
According to Times of India, the film collected Rs 2.05 crores in 10 days[8]
Reception
Anjana George critic of Times of India gave 3.5 stars out of and wrote that it was "a fresh take on romance".[9] S.R.Praveen, a critic of The Hindu, gave a mixed review.[10]Sajin Shrijith of The New Indian Express stated that "Pranaya Vilasam is one of those. It struck an emotional chord. It attains closure. Mission accomplished." and gave 3.5 out of 5.[11] Sanjith Sidhardhan of OTTplay wrote that "Apart from a few moments that would tug at heartstrings, Pranaya Vilasam is a meandering affair that doesn't quite hit home."[12]
However, a critic from Samayam gave 3.5 stars out of 5.[13] The Indian Express critic gave a mixed review and gave 3 out 5 rating[14]Anna MM Vetticad Critic of First Post stated that "Pranaya Vilasam wants to break new ground but is either too afraid or unable to go the whole hog. Neither here nor there is nowhere, and consequently, it ends up being lukewarm." and have 2.25 rating out of 5.[15] Manorama Online critic gave a mixed review.[16]
