Respeecher is an AI-startup enabling one person to speak in the voice of another particular person. Among the most recent works AI voice for Darth Vader in Obi-Wan Kenobi and de-aging of Luke Skywalker's voice in Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.[1][2][3]

History
Respeecher was founded in February 2018 and a year later it completed the Comcast NBCUniversal LIFT Labs Accelerator, powered by Techstars.[4] It received $1.5 million in startup funding in March 2020.[5]
In December 2020, was credited in the season finale of Disney Mandalorian for synthesizing the voice of young Luke Skywalker.[6][7] In February 2021 Respeecher worked on the voice of Vince Lombardi for the Super Bowl commercial.[8]
In September 2021, Respeecher team was awarded with Emmy for their work on In Event of Moon Disaster.[9][10]
In February 2022, company was credited in Chapter 6 of The Book of Boba Fett, synthetic voice of young Luke Skywalker.[11]
The Respeecher team, most of which is located in Ukraine, was able to continue working despite a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.[12][13]
In March 2022 company enabled cross-lingual singing voice cloning for Aloe Blacc’s tribute to Avicii.[14]
On June 27, 2022, company created AI voice for Darth Vader (James Earl Jones, actor) in Obi-Wan Kenobi TV series.[15][16][17][18][19]
In November 2022 first synthetic speech artist credited in Sony’s God of War Ragnarok.[20]
Since 2018, the startup has raised over $3 million in investments and shares its technology with Hollywood movie studios, video game creators, and other businesses.[21][22][23]
In February 2023 Respeecher joined Partnership on AI which is a Responsible Practices for Synthetic Media is a community-derived framework for the ethical and responsible development, creation, and sharing of synthetic media and AI technology.[24]
