Early life

Seiss was born in Dundalk, a suburb of Baltimore, Maryland, in 1994.[1] Seiss is a graduate of Eastern Technical High School in Essex and University of Maryland Baltimore County.[2]

Career

Seiss worked at an IKEA call center from 2016 to 2019, which gave him the inspiration for his videos.[3] His TikTok videos revolve around him posing as both an irritated retail worker, and a customer who is upset (colloquially known as "Karens").[4] The customer, who yells out something that shows that they are upset at the store (what makes the customer upset is not normally shown). The employee retaliates with a snarky remark.[3] His TikToks have been shared by Patton Oswalt, LeBron James, Jim Gaffigan and Paul F. Tompkins.[2]

In 2021, Seiss was cast in the film Cocaine Bear, directed by Elizabeth Banks,[5][6][7][8][9] after having ignored an email for casting calls for about a week, believing it to be spam.[10]

In 2022, he went on tour in the Pacific Northwest.[11] He has opened for comedians such as Josh Wolf, Roy Wood Jr., and Bo Burnham.[12]
