Secunderabad - Yesvantpur Vande Bharat Express

The Secunderabad - Yesvantpur Vande Bharat Express is India's upcoming Vande Bharat Express train, connecting the city of Secunderabad, which is the twin city of Hyderabad in Telangana with city of Bangalore in Karnataka.[1] It is expected to be inaugurated in May 2023.[2]

Overview

This will be the third Vande Bharat Express train for Telangana.[3] It will operate between Secunderabad in Telangana and Yesvantpur in Bangalore, Karnataka. The train will cover 618 kilometres in 7-8 hours between the two cities.[4]

Rakes

It will be the upcoming 2nd Generation Vande Bharat Express train which will be designed and manufactured by the Integral Coach Factory at Perambur, Chennai under the Make in India Initiative.[5]
