Shrinivas Acharya
Pandit Shrinivas Acharya is a Harmonium maestro. He was a Gandabandha Shishya of Pandit Purushottam Walawalkar.

Early life and training
Shrinivas was born on 15 April 1967 to Gopinath Acharya [1] and Shailashri Acharya. Shrinvias started his initial training from his mother Shailashri Acharya. Later he was in the tutelage of Pandit Vishwanath Pendharkar, who imparted him the lessons of solo harmonium. Then for more than ten years, he was a Gandabandha Shishya of Pandit Purushottam Walawalkar.[2] He combines the playing styles of both his gurus.
He not only has knowledge and practice of Hindustani Classical Music (that is specifically Raga music) but also has a good hand over Thumri style of playing on the harmonium.
Performing career
Shrinvias has accompanied Pandit C R Vyas, Begam Parveen Sultana, Vidushi Shobha Gurtu, Ustad Rashid Khan, Pandit Prabhakar Karekar, Pandit Ajay Pohankar, Pandit Kaivalya Kumar Gurav, Vidushi Kaushiki Chakraborty, Devaki Pandit, Pandit Suhas Vyas, Pandit Vidyadhar Vyas, Pandit Omkar Gulvady, Pandit Raghunandan Panshikar, Pandit Ram Deshpande, Ustad Raja Miya Khan, Sawani Shende.[2][3]
He had also played with tabla maestros like Pandit Mukundraj Deo and Pandit Mahesh Kanole. He often accompanies Begam Parveen Sultana on the harmonium.[3]
Dr. Dilip Gaitonde (the son of Tabla player Pandit Bhai Gaitonde) is the Guru Bandhu of Shrinivas Acharya.
He has achieved first prize in many harmonium competitions including Special Prize from All India Radio. He has participated in major classical events in India such as Gunidas Sangeet Sammela, Sawai Gandharwa Mahotsav in Pune, Tansen Samaroha in Gwalior, ITC Sangeet Sammelan, All India Radio Sangeet Sammela etc. He also participated in World Music Festival in Morocco, Dubai Shopping Festival in Dubai, Indian Music Festival in London and many other classical music festivals around the world.[2]
Shrinivas along with Pandit Suhas Vyas (vocals) and Pandit Mahesh Kanole (tabla) performed at the BRICS Vocal Concert in the year 2017 at Xiamen in China.[4]
Siddesh Thakkar is a disciple of Shrinivas Acharya. Siddharth Karve is also a disciple of Shrinivas Acharya.
Personal life
Shrinivas is married to Sangita Acharya. She is the daughter of Pandit Ramesh Kanole and she also is a Hindustani classical vocalist. Pandit Mahesh Kanole (the son of Pandit Ramesh Kanole and student of Tabla Guru Pandit Bhai Gaitonde) is the brother in law of Shrinivas Acharya.
