Srettha Thavisin
Srettha Thavisin (Thai: เศรษฐา ทวีสิน, RTGS: Settha Thawisin, pronounced [sèːt.tʰǎː tʰā.wīː.sǐn]; born 15 February 1963) is a Thai politician and real estate developer. He was the former chief executive and president of Sansiri Pcl.[1] He is a known confidant of both Thaksin Shinawatra and Yingluck Shinawatra, former prime ministers of Thailand, and was one of the three prime ministerial candidates of the Pheu Thai Party alongside Thaksin's youngest daughter, Paetongtarn Shinawatra, and former Attorney General Chaikasem Nitisiri in the 2023 Thai general election.[2]

Education and career
Srettha received his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Chulalongkorn University and MBA from Claremont Graduate University and then worked for Procter & Gamble[2] before co-founding Sansiri in 1988, which became one of the largest real estate developers in Thailand.[3]
Personal life
He is married to Pakpilai Thavisin, a specialist in anti-aging medicine, with whom he has three children.[4]
