Statue Junction

Statue Junction is a central location in Thiruvananthapuram, India. The Secretariat of the Indian state of Kerala is located at Statue Junction, which was where the old legislative assembly of the region used to take place. The junction is named due to the presence of Statue of Diwan Madhava Rao ( Sri Tanjore Madhava Rao) who is treated as a visionary minister of Princely State Travancore and Baroda for modernisation of both. Statue junction witness every protest and celbration of State of Kerala atleast in small scale. Secretariat holds the highest offices for most of the Government Departments.
