Stephen Waddams

Waddams earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law . As a law student, he was editor-in-chief of the University of Toronto Faculty of Law Review in 1968.[2] Waddams earned a Master of Arts and PhD from the University of Cambridge, followed by a Master of Laws and Doctor of Juridical Science from the University of Michigan Law School.

Waddams' specialty is contract law and he has published seven books on it and other private law topics.[3] He was elected a fellow of the Royal Society of Canada in 1988.[4] From 1988-1989, he was a visiting fellow at All Souls College, Oxford.[5]
