Subhasish Mitra
Subhasish Mitra is an American Computer Science and Electrical Engineering professor at Stanford University. He directs the Stanford Robust Systems Group, leads the Computation Focus Area of the Stanford SystemX Alliance, and is a member of the Wu Tsai Neurosciences Institute. His research ranges across Robust Computing, NanoSystems, Electronic Design Automation (EDA), and Neurosciences.[1]
Awards and distinctions
Prof. Mitra was named Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in 2013[2] for contributions to design and test of robust integrated circuits. He was also named an ACM Fellow in 2014.[3]
Prof. Mitra holds the William E. Ayer Professorship in Electrical Engineering.[4]
In 2022, Prof. Mitra's achievements in the information processing field were recognized by the Harry H. Goode Memorial Award, including a bronze medal and $2,000 awarded by the IEEE Computer Society.[5]
The Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) and the Semiconductor Research Corporation (SRC) recognized Prof. Mitra's lifetime research contributions to the U.S. semiconductor industry in 2021 by a University Research Award.[6]
