Sumbul Touqeer Khan

Sumbul Touqeer Khan is an Indian film and television actress. She was born on 15 November 2003 in MP, India. Her father, Touqeer Hassan Khan is a choreographer in the television industry. She has a younger sister, Saniya Touqeer who is also an actress.[1] she also acted in the show Waaris in 2016 as Gunjan Pawania along with her sister Saniya Touqeer.

Early life

Sumbul was born in 2003 on November 15 in Katni, Madhya Pradesh. Her parents were separated when she was six. Her father raised her. She shifted to Mumbai with her father as a child and got her early education there.[2] She completed her schooling at NTCC High School, Malad West, Mumbai.[3] Sumbul Touqeer Khan’s father inspired her to make her career as an actress in the industry.[4] [5] [6] [7] [8]

Sumbul has trained under Monika Verma's academy (Sahajamudra Acting Academy).[9] She had been passionate about acting since childhood.[10] She started her career as a child artist in the television industry. She starred as Mehtab (the niece of Akbar) in Jodha Akbar followed by Warris on the &TV channel.[11] In 2009, she starred as Shubhada in the Sony TV show Chandragupta Maurya. The film Article 15 marked her Bollywood debut in 2019.[12] As the lead actress in the Hindi TV series "Imlie," she gained immense popularity. In 2022, she participated in the reality show Big Boss Season 16.[13][14] [15] [16]
