Thaaram Theertha Koodaram is a 2023 Indian Malayalam-language Family Romantic Drama directed by director Gokul Ramakrishnan and written by Arjun Prabhakaran and Gokul Ramakrishnan.[1]

Premise

A food delivery boy Sanjay, who suffers from bipolar disorder and is now abandoned by his family, tries to take care of two homeless girls in order to prove his family that he has the ability to socialize, which he thinks that it will bring backs the love and affection towards him. He secretly shares his room with the girls without the knowledge of the lodge manager. But things are not turned as per his plans and he falls in love with one of the girls, which complicates things further.

After the release of Bannerghatta which was written by Arjun and Gokul Starring Karthik Ramakrishnan they teamed up again Gokul Ramakrishnan as Director along with Arjun Prabhakaran as Co- Writer and Karthik Ramakrishnan as Lead actor.[2] Mejo Joseph joined the team as Music director.[3]

Thaaram Theertha Koodaram was released theatrically on 14 April 2023[4]

Critical reception

Times of India says "the film is surprisingly impactful"[5][1] Malayala manorama says "this movie will stay close to our heart after watching"[6]
